Wambold from Pfungstadt, Hessen, Germany

The Wambold name has man variations in spelling, among them:
Wamolt, Wambolt, Wambold, Wampole and probably others.

I have a copy of a book by Susan Johanson who compiled the
Wambolds from 1400-1500's Pfungstadt, and a copy of the
book (with photos) my Great-Aunt Ida (Wampole)
Gunderson - Buend compiled on the Wampole family.

Our families were in NY state, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin.

Arriving on the ship "Harle" of London, (Ralph Harle, Master)
were Adam Wambold, Johann George Wambold and John Peter
Wambold, Anna Maria Wambold, (his cousins), of Rotterdam,
Netherlands (probably means ship embarked from that port.)

Their arrival in Pennsylvania was Sept 1, 1736.
(Colonial Recordes" Volume Iv, page 58.
(Johan) Adam Wambold settled in Coventry Township, Chester
County, PA. His will is on file at Philadelphia and is recorded in Liber
M. Folio 316, dated May 27, 1762 and proven at Philadelphia June 23,
1762.

To his wife, (3rd wife) Eva Catherine Petz, he leaves 1/3 of his estate,
real & personal.

To his son, Frederick, he bequeathed 1 shilling. *(This is probably
because he is older and already established with a family). The balance
of his estate is bequeathed equally among his other children: Elizabeth,
Mary, Catherine, Ludwick, Elias, Peter, Magdalena, Adam Jr., and George,
who were then all under 21 years of age. The Executor: John Gross,
Witnesses: JacobBerry, John Martin & Godfried Dovenhoven.

arrival in America, but used either name. b 30 March 1699 Pfungstadt,
